Enterprise Archiving Solution - Enterprise Content Management
The main business objectives in this project is to electronically archive a total volume of approximately 60,000,000 pages of existing Service Applications and attachments and other business documents.ACSS involved in Study, design and implement the EAS solution.Provide Hardware, software, software licenses, drivers, utilities, any customization needed as per the SOW, and all manpower required for the project implementation.

Document retrieval is handled through both thick and thin clients, with a customized bilingual interface.reporting is handled through thick client,Crystal reports will be used to generate customized reports.Capture & Entry applications will be thick based as well as some functions in the system administration module.ACSS provided full documentation for all solution components, including user manuals , System Administrator manuals, applications and technical documentation.

Ministry of Interior(MOI)

Live-Scanner - Biometrics : ACSS will deliver, install and implement Live Scanners for the Criminal Investigation Division at selected locations in Saudi Arabia. The Live Scanners will be used to capture finger print images and selected demographic data that are then compiled into a format for electronic submission. Demographic data is collected on preformatted screens that prompt the user for all required information. The system makes capturing fingerprints and the related text information an easy and reliable process.

The system provides the following benefits;

  • Quick, clean and convenient capture of fingerprints
  • Helps user to place fingers in the correct position and sequence
  • Reliable data that can be used later for search process

National Information Center (NIC)

Workflow : Implement a system to administer vacations and sabbaticals for civil and non-civil personnel. The system is enhanced by the fact that a paperless document workflow system
will be used for :

  • Initiating requests
  • Execute Document flow through the organization’s hierarchy
  • Obtain Approvals at all levels required within the hierarchy
  • The document workflow system automates the following;
    • Normal or Emergency leave requests (Civil ; Non-Civil)
    • Sabbatical leave requests (Civil ; Non-Civil)

The system is based on the current organizational structure that will determine the course of the document flow based on the individual’s position within the hierarchy. Changes to the hierarchy and/or to the individual’s position within the hierarchy are automatically noted by the system. The rules and regulations that apply for any request are built in within the system

Ministry of foreign Affairs

ACSSCO has supplied during the period from 1999 to 2003 the Ministry with machine readable visas and smart readers within the Ministry’s e-visa project. The project involved the printing and supply of machine readable visas and smart readers from the Canadian Bank Note (CBN) Company. The Visas and readers comply to ICAO technical specifications. The smart readers recognize documents that confirm with relevant ICAO specifications including 2D barcodes and magnetic stripes.

The period from 1999 to 2003 includes a total of 3 separate projects as follows;

  • 1999 to 2003 Print and Supply Machine Readable Visas
  • 2000 to 2001 Supply Smart Readers
  • 2002 to 2003 Supply Smart Readers
